Makita 18-volt drills on the BDF452HW what is really the position of HW.?
New buyer drill and Makita have approved. However confusing, looking at 18 volt wireless. What is the BDF452 and BDF452HW. They also have the BHP and I think it drill / hammer and what is the advantage of buying a drill percussion. As for the battery charger I think the most is the DC18RA Makita drill and collect all the slides in type batteries. I also believe that any slide the battery will work on any drill / etc was the only difference is the strength of the battery BL1815 is, BL1830, other words I think I can use any slide in the battery with any tool that slip over type, including circular saws and saws of reciprocity. I'm not sure what exactly the HW resources. But I do know the differences between the BDF452 and BDF452HW. Power wise, they are exactly the same. Version HW has a unique circuit that allows full load in 15 minutes. The base model charges in 30 minutes. HW version is about 75% by weight of the base. The "Z" version is only a drill (no battery). (And yes, the BHP is the hammer drill version)
