What volt / amp makes a good resistance Reciprocating Saw?
I'll buy one for a gift. They have no idea if 10 volts, well, or should I pay double for an 18 volt? also want a wireless. Is it better to buy the "package" or purchase tools and … is that "battery" or "shipper" separately? This is for "around the house" projects …. not being used by a professional maintenance staff or anything. Although I said they wanted a "heavy duty" one …. but what is Enuf rpms, or whatever you call? 
I read somewhere but I have seen 0-2000 saws with 2500 and 3000 also. What is excessive in this? Thanks in advance!
William has an excellent suggestion, 18-volt cordless is perfect for home use, try to find a sale with two batteries. Porter Cable Sawzall is the best I have used, Milwaukee is sufficient.
