I'm looking for 12mm router bit?
Hello Can anyone tell me if I get a 12mm drill to put everything on the edge of a mdf or if I can get a cutter slot to put some molding t really what I need to know where any of the foregoing I am based in the UK, for my arcade cabinet Mame is not so hard, not live anyway
First, post your question on home improvement … but if the U.S. as any hardware store or online. I would not put a border around MDF, wood fiber MDF is medium density, which does not look very nice, and probably fall apart as you do. what you would be the route of a bit of hardwood and glue it to the MDF, or better yet, use plywood, and the route.

What I used to do …
Before I found design software was in the stone age. In fact I hand lay a template on a sheet of paper. Then, enough. Then I would tape the design on a sheet of steel and trace around it with a Sharpe marker. Finally, I cut the part I wanted.
No matter what, never was accurate. There's always something wrong. Things like wavy lines, gouges and "unique items" were the norm. Measurements were never as accurate as I would have liked both. That usually happens to some accident issues, followed by some grinding. If you know anything about the manufacture, grinding is the enemy of your time.
Why Design?
I knew there had to be a better way, so finding some software design for testing. Yes, it takes some time to learn. Think of it as anything else in life, something that is worth it takes some time. This is also the situation of taking a step backwards to move ten steps forward.

My definition of Software Design
If you are an engineer, you probably will CAD Software account as software design. That's true. But what I am talking about here is "Creative" software design. These software packages are used by creative types for print, web design and logo design. This software is ideal for creating designs that flow and are artistic in some way.
Design software can be reduced to what is good. If you want to make a square with a hole in it or a triangular bellows, then the software CAD design type works very well. To cut a cowboy on a horse, then "Creative" Design Software is the only way to go.

Each CNC machine has quirks that you need to learn. Each CNC machine has a different working envelope. Each machine is slightly different from the rest of them. It's in your best interest to learn from your machine before putting it to work.
