Cutting Pliers

Cutting Pliers
Cutting out nose bone nose rings…?

Can anyone who has ever had to cut out their nose bone rings tell me exactly what kind of pliers or wire cutters they used. I have to cut mine out and I don’t know what kind to use.

Do you have to remove it yourself? If not have a professional remove it. If you do it yourself, any sturdy wire cutters made with stainless steel should be fine. ( stainless or surgical steel can be sterilized) Make absolutely sure that the pliers / cutters as well as the nose ring and the surrounding tissue are sterilized. You could introduce a very nasty infection if all the items used are not sterile. Also make sure you don’t have any of your skin in between the the blades of the cutter. After removing; clean the area with hydrogen peroxide, and keep using it until the hole totally heals. You could use Neosporin on the healing wound, but be careful, if the are isn’t totally clean before you apply the Neosporin, you could seal in bacteria.
Good Luck!
