Clarinet or flute?
Hello everyone. I'm thinking to learn the clarinet or the flute, mostly to play jazz. I have a musical background (my father and uncle are both professional jazz musicians) so you could say is in my blood! I love the sound of both clarinet and flute, but both are instruments completely new to me. Which is easier to play? Is it possible to learn one without classes or lessons do you think are essential to start? Also, is advisable to purchase a more expensive to begin with, or go directly and buy a decent? My partner thinks that the clarinet will be much harder to play than the flute, but I'm not so sure?! Please help! xx
Hi Jackie, The clarinet is the best driver and best suited for playing Jazz. If you has a musical background, which is an advantage for you, but I really should ask your dad or uncle if they think you can teach any instrument well enough to play complicated music, let alone to improvise. I'm going to say … no. The fundamentals are quite complicated … believe me. I might suggest that go to the library and check out a book on the flute or clarinet … the library just might have to request an interlibrary loan to find the really explain the fundamentals of the game – blowing – the choice of instrument – posture – the breath – fingering – joint … everything. So I never suggest that anyone just have an instrument themselves. Children can start in the school band program. But adults who have no one to one – day to day exposure to the instrument?? Without structured lessons … you are frustrated … and in the short term, stop. Hope was able to give you something to think about. Now, if you are a musical phenomenon …. you will be fine. Blackberry video converter, how to make better adjustments and step by step
I have a Blackberry Storm as my birthday present and I am deeply in love with the gorgeous display. I can not wait to fill the 8gb card with videos to show all my friends. Before that I tried to watch a movie on my BlackBerry that had already started with the iPhone / iPod touch settings, video works, but the file size is unnecessarily large and the audio does not match the video and to play on the Blackberry. I collect information here and there and finally solves the problem. So here is to share the details here.

Video Bitrate: 1200kbps

Audio Bitrate: 64 kbps
Channels: 2 channels
Now if you have no idea what to do with that, then here is some simple instructions for you.
First you need a third-party software. Nidesoft program I use, probably the best BlackBerry Converter available. I can download from their official website: Nidesoft .
Note: The program you downloaded on Nidesoft is the free trial version is limited to the creation of video files with a maximum of 2 minutes.
With In order to convert the videos as this, you must purchase the $ 25 software, or download the full version somewhere on google.com
So if you convert videos to DVD, you should use Nidesoft DVD to BlackBerry Converter and follow the step by step ways.
Step 1: Start the program, insert the DVD disc into the DVD drive. Click the "Open DVD" button, browse host, find the DVD folder of the movie, open it, select some titles and chapters you want or you can choose to convert entire movie.
Paso 2: configuration: click on "Profile" dropdown list to select "BlackBerry MPEG-4 Video (*. mp4)" format, click "Settings" to set the video size and bitrate. If you want to combine two or more titles in one, you can select the titles and click blank box before "Merge into one file" to merge.
Step 3: Click "Convert" button to make videos. Then the work be completed in minutes.
However, if the conversion of videos, you should use Nidesoft Blackberry Video Converter with the following forms.
Step 1: Launch the program and click "Add" to load the source video files you want to convert:
Step 2: Configuration: Click "format" drop-down list to select "Blackberry MPEG-4 (*. mp4)" as the format video output. Set the video size and quality in the preview window.
Step 3: Click "Convert" button to start to convert the video format.
After the file is converted to transfer the file to the folder of videos on your BlackBerry via Desktop Manager and enjoy your newly created video. Indeed, the converted file can be used not only Blackberry Storm, but also other phones like Blackberry Blackberry Pearl, Bold, curve.
Ok, so now you have the idea how to do with it. But you can find some other problems in doing so. Below are my problems and solutions I have gathered after practice for a long time, the list here to share with you.
I think there is a virus this program!?
There are no viruses in Nidesoft. One person reported being infected by Backdoor.Graybird, but if you've got on the site linked in my post did not come with the download. If you have downloaded from somewhere else on the web, I'm not sure. Probably malware / spammers have uploaded to sites people caught phishing. Always be sure to download things from their original site or from a trusted location such as download.com, and always run antivirus and scan material being installed.
The higher the resolution, the better the video quality?
Not necessarily at all. If you are converting a video that is 640 × 480 and make it the same 640 × 480 resolution, all you're going is more work for the phone. I understand that entrance behind it, the pixels that compress and store until clearer and sharper. However, if you compress these pixels in the conversion process does not occur same? So why not convert directly to a 480 × 320 and save the storm the problem?
The higher the bit rate, better is the quality?
Yes, that's true. However, the higher the bit rate, the better your video files. So it is not necessary raise the bitrate too high when you feel that your video quality is fine. I spent hours working different settings and the best results have been maintained around 1200 kbps.

Yes you can. You can get ringtones that way both DVD and video. But you need to make a slightly different configuration. As audio support Blackberry. I'm trying to make a movie purchased on iTunes, but the software gives me an error Nidesoft. In reviewing the details of the error tells me that there is not enough space on my disk. Why There are black bars on my video?
Although it seems "widescreen" of the storm is 4:3 not 16:9 native. So unless you want to stretch around the world and have high and thin will still have the black bars.
Are there a way to do full-screen without black bars?
Yes, you can crop the file when you do the transcode, but I have not made a video converter Nidesoft Blackberry yet. I'll post it when I fall into account.
