how to make steel shiny.?
when you forge steel it has this kind of grayish dirty look, would dunking it in vineger or alchohol for an hr work? or something to that effect because i can’t waste any moeny i have to use things i have at home and i want it to be neat, using a buffer is kind of hard and my grinder might ruin it since this metal is a bit curved, what could i dunk it in for it to get shiny?
NO vinegar it is acidic it will cause oxidation (rust),buffing with a compound will work
