Mixed Grits

Mixed Grits
What's for breakfast this morning?

I'm about to have some eggs over medium, grits and bacon. Mix together before eating, pour some of my friends on his coffee black.

Really? What ever floats your boat …… We just fried egg sandwiches cheese on toast. Pretty good.

Is your wood flooring already worn out? Have you already gone through tough tests and is now old and pale? It may be time to refinish your hardwood floor and make it look new again.

How do you know it's time to refinish the floor? You can do this step. Go to the area where the soil is mostly used his room be, perhaps. Get a tablespoon of water and pour into the ground. If the water forms the heel and can be easily destroyed, there is still need for repainting. Its soil is still in good condition.

If the water is poured slowly just seeps into the soil and creates a visible place as you may need to renew finishing touches. You may want to save on your task list and schedule a time when you can do the refinishing. However, if water seeps in as quickly as had been spilled, so do not waste any more time. Your floor definitely needs refinishing, and soon.

Renewal the finish of your wood floor will require equipment such as a drum sander. Other teams may be needed for other more detailed tasks in the finishing process. It is not necessary purchase equipment, however. These teams are available for rent at your local home stores like Home Depot. Can be rented on a daily or weekly basis.

Different sand papers are used in the drum sander for different soil types. The lower the grit paper number is, the thicker woods to use more damaged. Once you've chosen the right grit paper, now you can start sanding the wood through the machine. We suggest you do the sanding diagonally in both directions after a along the grain.

Once you've finished sanding the floor with all this procedure, repeat the process again with a fine grit sandpaper (one with a smaller number high). After sanding the entire floor again, you can now sand the edges with a spinner / edger machine.

Vacuuming is the next step to clean sand dust. If the current deficiencies after the sanding process, fill to use the sand dust mixed with varnish to form a paste. Then leave the floor alone for some time.

After a few hours, repeat the sanding process again, this time to do it along the grain with a much finer grain. Do this twice with the highest number of grains in the last sanding. After that, vacuum the floor once again and sweep off the sanddust.

A Once the floor is free of dust, now is the time to apply the layer. You need a rolling pin to do this. Before using the roller, make sure it is clean first with a stiff brush to remove dirt and loose hair that can reach the goal.

The polyurethane coating can now be applied across the grain for the ground strips. Once the whole strip is complete, return to the Gaza home and make sure no roller marks or urethane construction.

Allow the first coat dry for some time. When the layer is completely dry, the next step is to sand the whole floor using an orbital sander. Vacuum and sweep the floor after to remove dust.

Finally, the second layer can be implemented now using the same procedure as the first. In making the second layer, make sure the sun shines through the window to any part of the ground to avoid uneven marks.

Refinishing of your wood floor is relatively easy as long as you have the proper equipment. The rent can be a little costly but, but not as expensive as replacing your floor. You can even save more doing it yourself than hiring someone to do it for you. In addition, you would not be proud to show your work and tell your friends that you did it yourself?

Nice finished or varnished floors make your home look more beautiful. It is also a healthy alternative to carpets. Carpets are known to cause allergies, because they are difficult to clean. Having discovered, well finished wood flooring will help you have a healthy environment within your own home. Powders, parasites, fungi, animals and stains can be easily cleaned too.
