Our math teachers are lazy so they decided to give a package to do not have to teach this. However, always without instructions. How can I do (examples): 2n + 3n + 7 = -41 2x-5x 6.3 = -14.4 7 +2 (A-3) =- 9 3x 7 ——-= 8 2? Please help. It would be appreciated 2.
Try to get all terms with 'n' on one side only. 2n + 3n + 7 = -41 + 2n 3n + 7-7 = -41 to 7 2n + 3n = -48 Now factor out an N on the left side. N (2 + 3) = -48 5n = -48 5n / 5 = -48 / 5 n = -48 / 5 Once again, try to get conditions x alone on one side. 2x – 5x + 6.3 = -14.4 2x – 5x + 6.3 to 6.3 = -14.4 to 6.3 2x – 5x = -14.4 to 6.3 2x – 5x = Factor -20.7 out an x on the left side. X (2 to 5) = – 20.7-3x = -20.7 -3x/-3 = = 6.9 x -20.7/-3 use the distributive property on the left to find the period of 7 + 2 ( a – 3) = -9 7 + 2 * a – 2 * 3 = -9 7 + 2a – 6 = -9 1 + 2a = -9 Get the word on one side only. 1 + 2a – 1 = -9 to 1 2a = -10 2a / 2 = -10 / 2 a = -5 fraction separation left in two fractions over 2. (3x + 7) / 2 = 8 (3x) / 2 + 7 / 2 = 8 Now is the term x alone on one side (3 / 2) x + 7 / 2 to 7 / 2 = 8 to 7 / 2 ( 3 / 2) x = 16 / 2 – 7 / 2 (3 / 2) x = 9 / 2 (3 / 2) x * 2 = (9 / 2) * 2 3x = 9 3x / 3 = 9 / 3 x = 3 Hope this helps!
