Recently, Trend Machinery T3 replaces the classic light T4EK router with new and improved. We have been fortunate enough to seize one of these new machines brand to give it a test drive, listen to our workshop.
Definitely, I think the T4 is a big step forward. The T3EK had its fair share of problems, Trend most famous was the lack of power to the 110Volt version of the machine function as well as it should. The switch is always missing.
In Second, the T4 is much more powerful. Make more like an industrial power tool, far removed from the fans the feeling of T3. That's compared 550Watt with 850Watt much more powerful in the T4.
As for the construction of the machine in question has not been too many changes. The assembly still looks a little uncomfortable, but as we all know is both balanced and easy to control.
In the use of what he realized how much less noise and vibration, bearing in mind that the more powerful engine, the machine makes. According to the types of specifications in the trend of T3 creates less than 4.0 m/s2 hand arm vibration (HAV) while T4 creates 3.0m/s2.

So it is worth replacing your router current with T4EK? This is of course a "depends" answer. If you recently bought a small router, I defiantly do not rush to the stores immediately to buy one. However, if your in the market for a new router or perhaps your first purchase, so defiant, had chosen one of these up.
In some circles Wood is often mentioned that the T3 was marketed the wrong people (budget / novice). However, it was so close to being a high-end tool used for small intricate work. This trend seems to have really listened to it. They have done all the improvements of professionals and advanced users have requested. Without however, have not been alienated core market is not making it too complicated or too expensive.
In summary, the T4EK Trend is a fantastic light falling right router ideal for amateurs in commerce and the user of the light. If you're looking to do heavy labor in this machine, I personally would go for a router more potent, as the Makita 3612 or Trend T5.
The T4 features a variable speed control, locking hex shaft and neck allows easy changes cutting. The machine base is removable for milling and die size. The machine can also be used as FITMENTS pillar drill. The machine also has fixing holes to take advantage of trends standard guide bushes. Remove the dust peak fixing holes. Adjustable twin rod side fence for guiding along a straight edge. Great machine!
