What is the orange "Cisco Systems" button on the front of a Linksys WRT54G router?
Nowhere in the installation or owners manual (I've found, anyway) does not instruct me to press this button. When you pass, goes blank for a second then quickly blue flashes. After a minute, stops flashing and turns to an orange solid. No problem. So what is this? I've been in the Linksys website and used in online verification system utilities, but says there are no problems on my computer and everything is working as it should be. I'm happy for this, but it drives me crazy not knowing everything about my team and this is really throw me for loop! PLEASE HELP!
It's in the manual – For SES, Secure Easy Setup. If you have all Linksys devices on your network, you can press that button and create security for all of them automatically.
