The degree of tension a chainsaw chain be?
I just received my first chain saw and the book says to press firmly until contacts of the guide bar. I got it so it's completely contact with the bar, but I can not throw them away with your fingers (and if I let go it snaps back) Is it tight enough or have to be so strong that it can be extracted from the guide bar? Any suggestions will be appreciated. 
I've used chainsaws for years. I recommend tightening the string until it is removed from the bar enough to separate from the bar and no more. The base of the chain should remain mostly within the bar groove. So, while gloves for hand protection, and the saw is not running, you should be able to rotate (move by hand) chain on the bar with little resistance and no slippage of the chain completely free of the bar. The string must not drop the bar if tight. I think his description of how is checking tightness is correct. Moreover, since the chain is worn then be developed reqired slack chain to be adjusted. Remember that errors when using chain saws can be relentless and serious (no second chance). Make sure your foundation is stable and no other objects, branches, people, pets etc. are close to running chainsaws.
