What tools will I need to start a small shop?
I want to create a small workshop in my basement to do some carpentry Basic and others. I would be capable of building shelves and cabinets, decorative objects, etc. What are some recommendations on tools and accessories you absolutely must have? There are many different types of saws that I am totally confused. What would be the most versatile? Thank you.
I just started doing the same and I recommend two tools: a miter saw and a router. I started a small project with a circular saw and a jig saw and bought a miter saw halfway. I am sure that I cut my time at least half and that the cuts are much cleaner. The router is not absolutely necessary for many of the issues you mentioned, but it can give the edges a lot more attractive, finished look. Without some woodworking projects plans of my project is to continue .. and .. and on.Up ago bit and the development of the Internet is difficult to get some decent wood plans were limited to the purchase of books that could have led to a limited number of projects.
