How to prepare and paint sockets and accessories?
My baseboards and trim groaty looked a little after 5 years. I want to paint, but I figure that at least sand the doors, and repaints. I do not know what to do with the baseboards and moldings. Is it necessary the sand about all this? What is a good quick step by step to do?
Depending on whether the seat is stained or painted. If the seat is stained, have to sand down before the first and then paint. Do not forget to make repairs. I suggest if you want a mottled appearance, just remove old and install new. If you want to paint, I suggest you stay away from flat paint or eggshell, and look for paint seat or a gloss. Trying to match the door and the seat a finished look. If the door is bright, the seat should be too. A fast method to paint 1. Clean all moldings and baseboards down with a rag and H20 2. Make repairs with wood putty 3. Areas of fixed sandy 80/100 first grit and then 150 / 200 grit sandpaper is in long strokes to prevent falls and areas of sanding marks 4. Clean all again with H20 and cloth to keep dust from entering the paint 5. You may want to tape off the areas. 6. If colored paint and then sanded, cousins.
