Can a power adapter / transformer to be used as a battery charger?
I lost the charger for a FXM4 Smartech-3 Battery you can use a universal transformer (DC power adapter) to charge?
If this is a lead ride on toys, then you should be able to use a relatively small (1 / 2 to 2 amps) universal DC adapter to charge it as long as you keep the load voltage at the proper level and polarity (+ and -) correctly. A six-volt charges may be slow adapter 7.0 to 7.5 volts for several hours. However, with an adapter so you will not have regular you know how much you charge the battery so that battery life will be reduced over a period of time as it repeatedly over and under charging. You could be better to buy a universal charger for 6V sealed lead-acid batteries. WK
